Spent the last day or so building the Halifax Somatics site. I honestly forgot how much I like coding. It was good to get back to it after a month or two dabbling and drawing. I remember much more than I thought I would and it was a rewarding experience. It gives me some confidence for returning to the campus renewed and invigorated.

The WordPress conversion has been relatively painless as well. Just hunting for fixes when I don’t have a clue. Haven’t had to resort to bothering Devo just yet. Even managed to make the thing responsive rather easily as well.

Also sent the first preliminary logo ideas to SDHHNS. It’s the first time I’ve opted to send an initial idea presentation to a client instead of meeting with them. I have a cold and really wanted to get this in their laps. I’ve had it on my plate for too long. We’ll see how it goes. I’m hopeful. Some of the ideas are pretty good…I think. See below:
