While the two skills, on the surface, appear to be vastly different they incorporate very similar approaches. You have to recognize that not everyone can do it; that not everyone comes to the classroom with the same appreciation for the joy of problem solving; and that you mainly have to be energetically supportive at the early stages.

Practice also helps! The difference is you forget the little code tricks when you don’t use them and someone who has drawn their entire life can just pick up a 2B pencil and do it.
